Sunday the 28th of September 2014 saw the third annual motorcycle ride from Ducati Pattaya to The Camillian Social Center Rayong.
It is the rainy season here in Thailand so you never know quite what to expect from one day till the next during this period. This day began sunny in Rayong and when I arrived at Ducati Pattaya at around midday it was still bright sun shine. I was very pleasantly surprised to see that so many of the riders had turned up early by 1:00pm for a 2:00pm, start. The front of Ducati Pattaya very soon was filled with exotic machines. Unfortunately by 1:00pm, the rain had started and I was afraid that some of the riders would turn around and head for home. But these guys are made of sterner stuff and all stayed for the ride. Which we where rewarded for, by the time we where ˝ way down Sukhumvit the weather had cleared and the sun was shining again. Ducati Pattaya can be reached on https://www.facebook.com/Ducatipattaya on Facebook or on there website @ http://ducati.com/dealers/thailand/banglamung/pattaya/ducati_pattaya/index.do
Once we arrived at The Camillian Social Center Rayong after a cooling drink had been passed around by some of our older children. The younger ones gave us a dance display on stage to say thanks for making the journey. There was also a little music from our junior band. Almost now by tradition the equivalent of a hat was passed around for a donation to help us with our expenses. This came to 22,120 Thai Baht with a donation of 10,000 THB by bank transfer from Paul at Pearmain Enterprises Co. Ltd @ http://tyga-performance.com/th/ and facebook @ https://www.facebook.com/tygaperformance
Soon it was off for a thrill ride up the local quite soi next to our center which many of our children look forward to each year. After this it was yet again a spectacular display of riding skills by the young men from Unlimit Control, they consist of -Kittinan Leabyai (Joe) -Narongrit Soda (Berm) -Prajeen Tiwtongtat (Kapook) -Suranai Pimnu (Pond) who you can find on face book @ https://www.facebook.com/groups/107575939309928/ what a display of riding skills with big bikes thrown in the mix this year.
Thank you all for joining us on this day, with particular thanks to Ducati Pattaya for their commitment to this day and also for the many gifts and commodities that they brought along on the day.
Also great thanks to all the very skilled riders of Unlimit Control.
Sadly it was soon time to go with a very fond farewell till we see you all again next year.
|Great Thanks too Khun Aey from Pattaya Ducati and all the riders who made a very special day for our children.|
