The
day was warm and sunny for the best part
which was a pleasant change from the
weather over the last week which has
been typical rainy season weather for
this part of Thailand. Over 30
motorcycles started out from Pattaya
Ducati at something just after 2pm, for
the short ride too the Camillian Center
in Rayong province which is
approximately 45KL from Pattaya. First
stop was the fuel station on Pattaya Nue
an then a blast up the freeway.
Very
unfortunately the ride was not without
incident, Alan from the Ducati Factory
in Rayong where the currently
manufacture the Monster and Diavel
models decided to take a more scenic
route to the center which involved a
very large ditch at the side of the
road. Thankfully he was not hurt too
seriously but he did require a visit to
the Pattaya Bangkok hospital for the
wound to his leg to be attended too. We
all hope he is up and riding again very
soon.
At
the center all the children where
waiting at the entrance of the center
for all the bikes to arrive with great
cheers from all of them as the bikes
entered the center. Once the bikes had
been parked up at the rear of the center
Ann some of the rides took great
pleasure in distributing KiteKats that
had been brought all for the children.
Tony
director of Pattaya Ducati was very
surprised to be presented with a very
nice picture drawn by our Miss Tip.
After which some of the riders took the
more adventurous of are children for a
short ride up Soi Kiri at the side of
the center. All the children had great
fun this day and hope to see the riders
again in the future.
