Last year in about December, The promise between New II and Fr. Peter was made. That was that Fr. Peter will take all the children, who are not yet enroll in the school because of they are too young and weak, for lunch outside the center. And all the children and that comes right now too eleven children.

The promise was made because New II could increase her weight as she promised for the from the first day that she came here when she was 15 kg. And Fr. Peter told her that if her weight reached up to 20 kg. Fr. Peter will take all the children to have lunch outside the center.

The day for Fr, Peter to make good on the promise  has come. That was the day that New II came to Fr. Peter and said “Father, before I will go to the hospital in Bangkok and have to be admitted there for a long time, I ask you to make the promise between us come true.”

On January 19th, 2011, 11 children went outside for their trip with Fr. Peter and care givers. They went to Dok Krai Lake and had a lunch together at small restaurant nearby the lake. Unfortunately New II would like to have a special dish that is a “big prawn” but only a “shrimp” was available on the day.

That day ended with smiles from everyone, especially New II and we hope that during her stay in the hospital she will be remind of this happy day that we spent together give her the encouragement she needs.
